However, that record was equalled on Sunday by Bright, whose career in the WSL also started with Doncaster. The two were team-mates in Yorkshire when Bright made her debut in the league, before she moved on to Chelsea. She's become one of the most established stars in the English top-flight during her 10-year stint with the Blues, so much so that she matched Earps' record with her 187th start against West Ham on Sunday.

Bright is likely to break Earps' record after the upcoming international break, with there four more games to play in this WSL season. Earps, though, still holds other records in the league despite her departure, notably with the most clean sheets in the division's history.
